Valentine Poem
By popular (ok...by some) demand, here is the poem my 'shweetie' wrote for me on Valentine's Day this year.
In my heart you sit upon a throne,
And save me from benighted life alone
Spent in fruitless wand'ring, tossed and blown.
My love is strong because you've always shown
Me how to really see.
The time required to know just what to do
And how to end the old for something new
While holding all the time to what is true
Will help me strive and then become what you
Believe me now to be.
...and he's all mine!!

that's very nice Kelly
what a great guy, kelly!
the poem tells me more about you than him, however - the fact that you are worthy of such praise says much about who you are.
p.s. - thankx for putting it up for me.
Awwww! Lovely!
This guy of mine is actually quite the poet.
When he proposed to me it was with a poem. I believe it was the third one he wrote to me. Since that time he has written many. Some were for Valentine's Day. Others were for no occasion at all.
Here are a couple more he wrote that I had previously posted.
You been braggin' on me again?
The true story is that she gave me a gift bag with chocolate and a card, and I figured "Hmm, I'd better finish up that thing I was writing the other day before she suspects anything. And where did I put that piece of parchment paper last year that will fit through the laser printer?"
:)
Hey, Hon...Yes, I have been bragging on you again. What else would I do??? :)
You know I can't resist.
John,
From what I understand, you are rather worthy of being bragged upon.
It is really nice to know that there really is such a thing as being 'happily married' these days, and with this lovely poem John wrote you for Valentines Day only gives someone like me reason to hope!
For him to even acknowledge such a day as Valentines day brings him high above the rest...
...care to clone him???
~~Starla
Hmmm...cloning...I think he might like the idea of being cloned...then he could be in two places at once.
