"And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall."

Garage/Workshop almost done

Awhile back I posted an entry about the moat in our backyard. Well, we have progressed with that project. We are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel on this one. My husband will finally be able to stretch out his power tools and make things without bumping into walls.

this is much better than the history lesson going on at my place.

something uninstalled all my antivirus and spyware so i've been battling that the better part of the week. 148 spyware/viruses found! yikes!

now, i'll try to make comments at phelonius' and see if it works.

My other half has dreamed of a workshop like this one for years. He likes to build things from wood and other materials.

I could get there to phel's blog...but with some difficulty. I didn't have problems last night.

The garage looks like it's coming along nicely. Are you going to do the floor too? My parents did the floor of their garage and it just tops off the entire structure. I'm sure many happy moments will be spent in your new garage, building new and exciting things.....

Nanc! We are trying to move things over to a new server system. Maybe that will help. The thing is that I have had no troubles accessing the site. We hope that some of the changes will be better for you.

Kelly! Great job there. I know when I finally finished my "dog-house" I have been able to have a really nice place when I make my better half...shall we say?....not as happy with me as I am?

Starla,

I don't think John plans on doing anything to the floor. The cement looks good enough in there.

JB, "the dog house" LOL!

I think John would rather like "having" to spend some time out there.

We just have the second coat of stucco (have to do it to meet HOA reqs.), the soffits, and hook up the breaker box for the electricity and viola...fancy dog house.

I sure hope your blog server gets switched soon. I have been giving Sal as much feedback as I can.
