"And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall."

Giving Thanks

As Thanksgiving Day came to a close I sat to reflect on the day. I have much to be thankful for. I have a wonderful family, including the best hubby in the world (ok, the rest of you will just have to settle for less...LOL...ok, so he's wonderful, at any rate.) I have great neighbors. I have some pretty good friends....dang good friends, I tell ya.

I give thanks to God for all those things and all else He has given me.

...but most of all I give thanks to the turkey who gave its all for the betterment of my tummy.

Some things said around the table yesterday:

"This sure is a fowl day!"

"Let's talk turkey."

"How about we talk Greece, instead."

"You sure have a fowl mouth."

On the more serious side

:

We talked of Happiness, Gratitude, Hope and Faith.

All in all, it was a good day!
