Boy, do I feel silly!
A couple months ago we found ourselves the proud owners of a cute little kitten. We learned, from the people who gave us the kitty that she was female.
Well, today we took "Bessie" to the Vet to get fixed...
....
....
We found out later that this cute little girl kitty was, in fact, a male.
!!!!!!!!
Okay, so we didn't check the parts very carefully.
Next time we won't believe what the previous owners tell us.
Now coming up with a name....Bessie WAS the name.
How does Besito sound???

He needs a real name.....a macho cat name......a cat name that makes him a rockstar......
How about "Bubbles"?

For now his name is still Bessie. We just can't bring ourselves to call him anything else.
Reminds me of a cat one of my siblings had. Her name was Fred. Yup, they found out he was a she...and the name stuck.
"little kiss"? hmmm...

How about calling him Bert?
Remember, cats have 9 lives, so why not 9 names?
What about Oreo for his next life?
You named it Bessie because she/he reminded you of a cow...
...I googled cow boy names and got Oreo!!! LOL
Bert had been suggested before, but tossed out by the kids outright...the teenagers particularly couldn't use that one without much laughter.
OREO?? hmmmm.
