"And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall."

Helaman 5:12

Boys of Summer Spring Winter

Isn't it supposed to be warm for baseball games?? Apparantly, not here in Utah this year. Standard equipment for enduring these little league baseball games has been coats, blankets, propane heaters, hot chocolate, two pairs of socks and gloves. I kid you not.

Not only has it been in the 30s and 40s for these games, but it has been windy and snowy.

Because of this strangely cooler-than-normal weather we have a few die-hards who show up to watch the boys play. There was one game that was held on an evening that was warm enough to bring out everyone else. The very next game was held during another cold one. Those same die-hard parents were there as before.

This evening I plan to wear two pairs of socks, legwarmers, a coat (with a hood), gloves and I will take a blanket (the warmest, fuzziest one I can find.)
