"And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall."

Big reason to vote for McCain

I grabbed this from Patrick at Born again Redneck. He often gets right to the point on his blog. So, rather than reinventing the wheel. I will just give him credit and post it as it is.

"And ponder SCOTUS' recent Gitmo decision. Three of the five Justices who voted to give foreign prisoners of war access to our civil courts may die, retire or become disabled within the next four years. There is no assurance that McCain will appoint decent judges (and there's no guarantee how they will turn out even if they appear to be conservative at first) but it's a sure thing that Obama will appoint more Ginsbergs.

Or as K-Lo at the Corner puts it:

Nuff said."
Indeed!

Given the state of the senate, I have my doubts the right can get anyone 'acceptable' through any more.

FJ, you may have a point...but there will be absolutely NO chance with Obama.

Kelly, I am very doubtful these days as to who gets my vote now that Hillary has left the running. I may not even vote at all this election and Elizabeth Cady Stanton will probably be rolling over in her grave because of my decision not to vote. Its too early though; but thus far, no candidate has won me over yet....be it dem or rep.

Starla, by that same token, if McCain chooses a liberal running mate there are many who will find someone else to vote for.

We are all talking about how we really hate this election. It does not bode well for any of us.

I tolerate McCain.
