Utah Scottish Festival
Scenes from the Utah Scottish Festival--June 14, 2008. I went with my mom and her parents to this festival last week. My grandpa's parents were born in the same small town in Scotland, but didn't meet until he came to visit his brother in Canada. My great grandmother was working as a nanny for my great grandpa's brother.
For me the sound of bagpipes are simply heavenly.
JB, I put some things in here just for you.

Very awesome! :)
Being there was even more awesome!
I appreciate the Clan Baird representation there!
I talked to those Baird guys. They said they had relatives in TX.
I'm surprised nanc and tmw aren't over here like me ogling the kilted ones.
HA! Made you look. :)
your such a tease Alice!
Ever seen Highlander? (the first one). Great flick.
Kelly: Sorry to be brusque with you at my blog, but I was trying to get information out of him and you were distracting him.
Anyway, I nailed him. I know who he is. Let him have it at will.
All of you. This is one of the nastier lefty trolls who harassed Evan Sayet.
John, I have seen Highlander...great movie...ya only the first one.
..and sorry about being a distraction while you were trying to capture the troll...though I knew I had struck a nerve with him when he went after me the way he did. The reaction was the same with James' comments.
It is the same reason he goes after Sayet. Evan speaks the truth.
How did you figure out who it was?
btw...Alice...LOL!
Actually, the fair Alice began the discovery when she discovered that he was a cartoonist.
I saw Scottish comedian Craig Ferguson last summer at the Warner Theater. Funny guy.

Well, Alice...YOU ROCK!!
John, don't think I have ever seen or heard Craig Ferguson. But, I be a wee bit of a fan of Scottish lads. So, I will have to pay attention now.
He's hyper. He was the boss on the Drew Carry Show.
OH! Yes, I know who he is! FUNNY!!
Hi Kelly,
It looks like a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon! Glad you had so much fun.
~~Starla
hi, Starla, that was a lot of fun, yes. My mom was planning to go with just her and her parents, but I figured she might want some help in that area. Her parents are in their 80s now. So, I went with.
